Academics is searching for a Qualified History Teacher to join a forward-thinking Secondary Academy in Hull. We are looking for someone who can bring historical events, figures, and moments to life in the classroom, making history relevant and exciting for students of all abilities.

What We’re Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), PGCE, or similar teaching qualifications in History.
* Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4, with an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and historical topics.
* A creative and engaging approach to lesson planning, capable of making history come alive for students through storytelling, debate, and inquiry-based learning.
* Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and inclusive learning environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a flair for encouraging students to think critically about historical events and their relevance today.
* A genuine passion for the subject and a commitment to supporting students in developing historical knowledge and analytical skills.
