SEN - Autism Specialism & Complex Needs

Are you passionate about pursuing a career in Psychology or Mental Health? This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism and Complex Needs.

Academics LTD is working with a specialist school in Ascot that provides exceptional, individualized care for children aged 5 to 18. The school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with an interest in Psychology to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborating closely with external practitioners and psychologists
* Supporting students in developing emotional regulation and social skills
* Working with children with a range of needs, including Autism, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, and communication difficulties
* Demonstrating a genuine interest in working with children or in SEN

Ideal Candidate:

This position is perfect for recent graduates or anyone looking to build experience in Psychology, Mental Health, or Special Educational Needs. No prior experience is required, but qualifications such as a Degree or Level 3 qualification in a related field are advantageous. A proactive, calm, and positive mindset is key to thriving in this role.

* Experience: Desired but not essential
