Academics LTD is working with a specialist SEN school in Slough that offers personalized care for children aged 5 to 18 with mental, emotional, and social challenges. We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team.
What We’re Looking For:
* Understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
* Ability to support children with a variety of needs including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, and physical disabilities
* Passion for helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
* Interest in working with children or in SEN
* You are determined, confident, and motivated
This position offers the chance to work closely with qualified SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience. It’s ideal for Psychology or Criminology graduates looking to pursue a career in Mental Health or Education. While previous experience is welcome, it’s not required—recognised qualifications include a Degree, Level 3 qualification, or any prior work with SEN students.

Role Details:
* Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Location: Slough
* Salary: £83 - £95 per day (depending on experience, qualifications, and client rates)
* Contract: Long-term temporary with the potential for permanent placement
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)
* Experience: Not essential but highly valued
