SEN Teaching Assistant – Mental Health Support
📍 Location: Oxford
💰 Salary: £83.50 - £100 per day
📆 Contract: Full-Time, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

This is an amazing opportunity to grow your career while making a real difference in the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support in the classroom, helping students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will assist in delivering tailored learning and emotional support to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

The Role:

✔️ Support students with SEMH needs in class and social settings.
✔️ Assist in implementing tailored support plans.
✔️ Promote emotional resilience and positive coping strategies.
✔️ Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams.

We are looking for someone patient, compassionate, and proactive, with experience in SEN, SEMH, or mental health support. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate or a background in psychology or mental health, are desirable but not essential. Most importantly, you’ll need a calm and positive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to support students through their challenges.

In return, we offer a rewarding role with excellent training, career development opportunities, and a welcoming, supportive school environment. If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact, apply today!
