Student Support Worker - Swindon (SN3)

Full Time - ASAP Start - £85 - £95 DAILY WAGE

Are you interested in supporting students with additional needs? Do you want to develop your career in special education?

Where You'll Be:
The school is an inclusive, supportive school in Swindon that is dedicated to nurturing young people through both their academic and personal development. With purpose built facilities, educational and psychology professionals on site, you'll have everything on hand to support the students! We're looking for a Student Support Worker who is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of our students.

Student Support Worker role:
As a Student Support Worker, your role will be all about helping students overcome any barriers they might face—whether those are social, emotional, or academic. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students navigate their school experience with confidence, independence, and resilience. The week goes from Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, so you'll benefit from a social working schedule!

You’ll work closely with teachers, the SEN team, and other staff members to ensure that every student has the support they need to succeed. No two days will be the same, and your input will be invaluable in creating an environment where all students feel valued, supported, and ready to take on the world.

* Working alongside teaching staff and educational professionals to tailor support for individual students
* Helping students build key social skills, confidence, and independence
* Tracking students’ progress and supporting them as they work towards their goals
* Supporting students with regulating their emotions and challenging behaviour throughout the day

Student Support Worker qualities:

* Experience: Experience working with children or young people in a support role is HIGHLY desirable but it’s not a dealbreaker. If you have the right attitude and a genuine desire to help, we want to hear from you.
* Proactive Approach: We want someone who will take the initiative, help out wherever needed, and make sure that all students receive high quality care and education
