Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location - Bristol City Centre

Sector - Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £90 per day

Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Fixed-term until Summer 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated team in Bristol City Centre. If you are passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in their educational journey, particularly in education and training, we would love to hear from you. This position is located in the heart of Bristol offering great transport links and easy access to all the amenities the city has to offer.

We welcome applications from candidates who:

* are enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive team players with strong communication skills, ideal for a Learning Support Assistant role in Bristol City Centre
* have experience supporting children with additional social and emotional needs, which is crucial for a Learning Support Assistant
* are confident, professional, and committed to continuous learning and development, key attributes for a successful Learning Support Assistant in education and training in Bristol City Centre
* can work independently, use initiative, and contribute to pupil progress tracking in the Learning Support Assistant position
* have strong behaviour management skills and can create an inclusive learning environment, both essential in the Learning Support Assistant

Desired qualifications and experience:

* Level 3 qualification in supporting children and young people (or equivalent)
* GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
