About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we invite you to consider joining our dedicated team as an Aspiring Prison Officer in a classroom setting at a SEN school in Dorking.

As an aspiring prison officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being, safety, and development of young individuals with SEN and challenging behaviour in the classroom.. You will play a vital role in creating a secure and supportive learning environment, helping these young individuals to improve their behaviour, build life skills, and make positive changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities of an aspiring prison officer- Dorking:

* Supervise and support young individuals with SEN in a classroom setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Assist in managing challenging behaviour through de-escalation techniques and creating structured routines.
* Promote positive relationships and communication with young people, encouraging their personal development.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create tailored plans for each individual.
* Be vigilant and proactive in maintaining the security of the environment, following all safety protocols.
* Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations.
* Attend education and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with vulnerable young people.
