Full-time | £83 - £90 per day (DOE) | One-Year Contract

A vibrant Mainstream Primary School in Basingstoke is looking for a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning challenges in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role – SEN Support Assistant in Basingstoke

As an SEN Support Assistant in Basingstoke, you will work closely with students who have a variety of special educational needs. Your role will involve:

* Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEN needs
* Supporting students in achieving their learning targets by implementing tailored strategies alongside teachers and SENCOs
* Helping manage behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills development
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and active participation in classroom activities
* Working closely with a supportive team in the Basingstoke school to ensure the success of each student

What We’re Looking For – SEN Support Assistant (Basingstoke)

* Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or similar needs)
* Level 3 qualification or relevant degree is preferred, though not essential
* GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
* A patient and empathetic approach to working with children with special needs
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
