SEN Teaching Assistant – Oxford (Primary School) – ASAP Start

Full-time | £83 - £90 per day (DOE) | Long-Term Contract

Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Oxford? A fantastic Mainstream Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a great opportunity to support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning difficulties in a supportive school environment.

The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)

* Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in Oxford
* Assisting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Global Development Delay, and other additional needs
* Implementing tailored learning strategies alongside teachers and the SENCO
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation in the classroom
* Supporting personal care needs (if required) and promoting independence

Requirements – SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)

* Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, or related needs)
* Level 3 qualification OR relevant degree preferred
* GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
* A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to working with SEN students
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
