Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students succeed academically and personally. Your support will contribute to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant

Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.

Provide targeted support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
*

Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
*

Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they can effectively access the curriculum.
*

Prepare learning materials and assist with lesson planning under the teacher’s guidance.

Requirements for a Teaching Assistant

Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students.

A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
