Design & Technology Teacher (full time, part time, long and short term contracts) opportunity – Secondary School - Didcot

Are you a qualified Design & Technology Teacher or Design & Technology Specialist looking for work within secondary schools in Didcot?

Academics Ltd are working with an outstanding school in Didcot who are looking to appoint a Design & Technology teacher to join them from April 2025. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. This is also a great opportunity for ECT’s looking for their first teaching role.

The school are looking for a Design & Technology Teacher who -

* Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management,
* Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive Design & Technology lessons to students of all abilities.
* Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement,
* Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life,
* Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students.

Design & Technology Teacher Requirements –

* Degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
* Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS.
* Experience with online teaching platforms.
* Strong knowledge of the Design & Technology curriculum and teaching techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
