Aspiring Educational Psychologist Opportunity in Kempston!

Are you a graduate passionate about pursuing a career in Educational Psychology? We have an exciting opportunity for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join a supportive and inclusive team in Kempston!

This is the perfect role to gain practical experience and explore whether a career in the Special Educational Needs, Education and Training sectors is right for you. If you have a background in Psychology or Health and Social Care, this position will give you the chance to collaborate with a range of professionals, including SEN specialists, ABA tutors, and Mental Health practitioners.

Position: Aspiring Educational Psychologist

Location: Kempston

Pay: £460 - £500 per week

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30

Sector: Education and Training

Student Body: 150 students with varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with diverse learning needs, focusing on Autism and individualized education plans.
* Work with small classes (6-8 students), tailoring learning approaches to meet each child's unique needs.
* Assist in developing key personal and functional skills for students with SEN.

The Ideal Aspiring Educational Psychologist:

* Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field) and/or relevant SEN experience.
* A genuine interest in Autism, Mental Health, and SEN.
* Understanding or interest in learning and behavioural needs (including SEMH).
* Ability to commute locally to Kempston.
