Position: Exams Officer
Location: Secondary School, West Kirby Area
Contract Type: Long Term, with potential to become Permanent
Start Date: After Half Term
Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday), 08:30 - 16:15

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised Exams Officer to join a well-regarded secondary school in the West Kirby area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail to support the school through the busy exam season and beyond. The role is full-time, starting after half term, with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the administration and organisation of internal and external exams
* Ensure exams run smoothly in compliance with all relevant regulations
* Coordinate the scheduling, invigilators, and resources for exam periods
* Communicate effectively with students, staff, and exam boards
* Manage exam entries, results, and certificates
* Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and security of exam materials

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience as an Exams Officer or in a similar role within a school environment is desirable
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures for exams
* IT literate with experience of using school management systems
