Job Opportunity: MFL Teacher
Location: Shirley

A friendly and supportive secondary school in Shirley is looking for a dedicated MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave, starting in April. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Spanish, French, and/or German to students across KS3 and KS4. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about language learning and committed to helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

As an MFL Teacher in Shirley, you will:

* Teach Spanish, french and/or German to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness.
* Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum to maximise students’ language proficiency.
* Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages.
* Adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the Shirley school community.

Ideal Candidate for the MFL teacher in Shirley:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages.
* Experience teaching both Spanish and French, ideally at the secondary level.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a passion for supporting students in their language learning journey.
* An organised and enthusiastic teacher, ready to step into this role in Shirley immediately.
