* Role: 1:1 Classroom Assistant
* Salary: £83 - £95 per day
* Contract: Long-Term Temporary with potential for permanent
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 1:1 Classroom Assistant to join a specialist school in Reading. This role involves providing tailored support to children with Autism, social communication difficulties, and other additional needs, helping them overcome learning barriers and thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 support for students with Autism, social communication difficulties, and other learning needs.
* Assist students with developing communication, emotional resilience, and social skills through personalized strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Support students in managing emotions, maintaining focus, and promoting positive behaviour.
* Foster a trusting relationship with students to encourage both their academic and personal growth.

Who We're Looking For:

No prior experience is required, as full training and support will be provided. However, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children succeed. Ideal candidates will have an interest in psychology, education, or social work and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
