* Contract: Long-Term Temporary with potential for permanent
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 3:30 pm)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? A specialist school in Slough is seeking a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor to provide dedicated support to students with Autism, social communication difficulties, and behavioural needs.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children who require tailored interventions to help them build confidence, regulate emotions, and engage positively in their learning. If you’re looking for a meaningful role where you can support students in overcoming challenges, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Offer 1:1 behavioural and emotional support to students with Autism and communication needs.
* Help children develop coping strategies, social skills, and self-confidence.
* Work alongside teachers, therapists, and support teams to create an inclusive and structured environment.
* Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage engagement and emotional regulation.
* Build trusting relationships with students, providing stability, encouragement, and tailored guidance.

Who We're Looking For:

No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, this role would be ideal for individuals with an interest in psychology, education, social work, or special educational needs (SEN). A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach is essential.
