Academics, one of the leading education agencies in the UK, is recruiting enthusiastic individuals to support primary schools across Bristol with both short-term and long-term absences. Gain valuable experience working with children of various abilities in different educational settings.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist teachers in creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment. You’ll help manage classroom activities, support students with their learning, and assist those with special educational needs (SEN).

This temporary position offers variety and hands-on experience in both mainstream and specialist schools, helping you develop your skills and understanding of the education system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support teachers in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 classrooms
* Assist with lesson delivery and small group work
* Support students with SEN and help them access learning resources
* Manage classroom behaviour and keep students focused
* Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student progress

Requirements:

* NVQ or CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
* Availability to start ASAP
* Experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 or a similar role
* A proactive and adaptable approach to working with children
* Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate
