Role Overview
* Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support as a SEN Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support (Mental Health TA)
* Assist children with challenging behaviour and help develop positive coping strategies
* Support classroom learning in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs
* Gain hands-on experience before pursuing a career in the education and training sector
Candidate Requirements
* A degree (2:2 or above) is desirable
* Previous experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. youth work, support work, SEN in sport, mental health support)
* Strong behaviour management skills – any restraint training is a bonus
* A proactive, confident, and compassionate approach
