We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN School in Kempston. You will provide essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), playing a key role in helping them succeed academically and socially in a nurturing environment.

Role: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN and PMLD students.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and specialists to implement tailored learning plans.
* Foster a safe, engaging environment that supports students' well-being and participation.
* Assist during lessons, break times, and school activities to promote inclusivity.
* Help prepare and organize learning materials to enhance the classroom experience.

Requirements:

* Previous experience with SEN and/or PMLD pupils is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children, staff, and families.
* Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to different learning needs.
* Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are a plus but not required.
* Flexibility to adapt to varied learning challenges.
* Local to Kempston with a reliable commute.
* A full driving license is preferred.
