We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work with children who have moderate learning difficulties and associated behaviors. No prior experience is required, and interviews are now being conducted.

Located in Bath, this school supports up to 150 children aged 4-19 who thrive under a specialised curriculum tailored to their individual needs. With an in-house Therapy Department consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, it provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists or those pursuing a career in child psychology.

This Aspiring Psychologist role offers the chance to work closely with professional teams, gain valuable experience, and expand your skills. It provides a rewarding setting with career progression opportunities, including roles such as SEN Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and various Child Psychology pathways.

Job Role and Responsibilities: Aspiring Psychologist - Bath

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning experiences.
* Provide behavior and pastoral support to students.
* Build strong, effective relationships with students.
* Take a practical approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Be caring, compassionate, and a good listener.
* Work 1:1 or in small groups with students as required.
* Ensure the safeguarding of all students.
* Attend staff meetings and complete relevant CPD.

* Start date: ASAP, with trial days to ensure a good fit for you and the school.
* Training: Comprehensive on-site training, support, and CPD provided.
* Pay: £85-£95 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only.
* Experience: No prior experience required.
* Ideal for: Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Social Sciences looking to apply their degree in a meaningful way.
* Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship available.
