1:1 Behaviour Mentor – Bedminster – ASAP Start

A welcoming primary school in Bedminster is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with children who have Special Educational Needs.
In this role, you will support a Year 5 pupil 1:1, helping them navigate their learning and development. The school values its staff highly and provides a supportive and collaborative working environment. The pupil has recently begun reattending school after a period of time away, and the ideal candidate will help them to readjust to school life.
This role is currently part-time, with morning-only hours, offering the potential to evolve into a full-time Teaching Assistant or 1:1 Behaviour Mentor position in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the pupils behaviour and learning in the classroom.
* Assisting children with understanding teacher instructions.
* Working with individual learners 1:1 or small groups in the Learning Support department.
* Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
* Aiding in the reintegration of the pupil back into a traditional classroom environment
Position Details:

* Salary: £40-£50 per day (Mornings Only)
* Hours: Mornings, Mon - Fri
