Behaviour Assistant - Oxford

What the role as a Behaviour Assistant entails:

* Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for the students
* Assist the class teacher in implementing any personalised educational pans or interventions
* Provide the students with the right tools to manage and cope with their emotions
* Facilitate a safe environment to learn

Your day to day as a Behaviour Assistant:

* Working alongside the class teacher to help the students reach their goals
* Help manage any behaviour
* Model correct coping strategies
* Encourage the students to try their best
* Support the students on their academic journey

The Successful Behaviour Assistant:

* You will have some experience working with children
* You will be passionate about education and helping children with their academic goals
* You must understand the importance of safeguarding
* You will be positive, enthusiastic and proactive

This is really a great role for individuals who are looking to get some experience working with children who have a hard time with their emotions and school work.

Graduates are welcome to apply as well as those with a background in sports, music, art or drama.
