Primary Teacher - Potters Bar

Position: Year 3 Primary Teacher

Location: Potters Bar

Overview: A lovely school I’m working with are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. They are a vibrant educational institution committed to providing exceptional learning experiences that nurture the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of the students. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment specifically tailored to meet the needs of Year 3 pupils.

Responsibilities:

1 Curriculum Implementation: Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring differentiation to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
2 Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, while promoting respect, cooperation, and responsibility among students.
3 Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for academic improvement.
4 Parental Engagement: Foster open and effective communication with parents/guardians through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and involvement in school events to support student development.
5 Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, and contribute to the overall improvement of teaching and learning standards.

Qualifications:

1 Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (with PGCE/QTS).
2 Previous experience teaching primary-aged children, particularly Year 3, is advantageous.
3 Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
4 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5 Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement and behavior.
