Academics is currently looking to recruit a cover supervisor to work within our client secondary schools across the Wirral on a daily supply basis starting ASAP and April 2024.
As a cover supervisor you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.
Main Cover Supervisor responsibilities:
* Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
* Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
* Adhering to school policies and procedures

What you will need to work as a Cover Supervisor with Academics:
* Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage the classroom effectively
* Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
