Learning Support Assistant - Primary School - Walton-on-Thames

Position: Learning Support Assistant

Walton-on-Thames

Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one and group support to primary-aged children
* Implement individualised learning plans in collaboration with the teaching team
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with classroom activities and ensure the well-being of each child
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to support overall child development

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with SEN children or as a Learning Support Assistant, especially those with additional needs, would be ideal but not essential
* Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs
* Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide tailored support
