Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our passionate team. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, nurturing students' literacy skills, creativity, and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons that encompass a range of literary genres, writing styles, and language skills, in alignment with the national curriculum.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to express their ideas and opinions.
* Foster a love for reading and literature through the exploration of diverse texts and the promotion of independent reading habits among students.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their literacy development, writing proficiency, and analytical skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and integrate English across the curriculum through interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related field.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature, with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English.
* Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students through engaging teaching methods, innovative pedagogy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
