SEN Teacher – Havering

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher (Special Educational Needs Teacher) to become a vital part of our team. As an SEN Teacher, your role will be pivotal in providing crucial support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance needed to flourish. Main Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

* Work collaboratively with fellow professionals to devise personalized Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Adapt and tailor curriculum materials to suit the unique needs of each student.
* Deliver dynamic lessons that actively engage students and encourage participation.
* Offer differentiated instruction to address individual learning obstacles effectively.
* Continuously monitor students' progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly.
* Collaborate closely with parents, guardians, and other professionals to develop and implement robust support strategies.

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for fostering a sense of belonging within the Havering community.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine dedication to the success of every student in Havering.
* Ability to provide detailed references for pre-employment checks tailored to Havering standards.
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check with no reprimands, with our assistance provided.
* Possession of relevant teaching qualifications (such as a teaching degree with QTS or equivalent) suitable for Havering.
