Are you an experienced and passionate Religious Education Teacher seeking a new role for the Summer term?

Are you looking to teach within local secondary schools across Chester?

Academics are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to deliver high quality and informative lessons in Religious Education within one of our client secondary schools in Chester.

You'll be responsible for planning lessons that align with the curriculum whilst assessing and evaluating student progress. You will need to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning whilst managing student behaviour effectively fostering a culture of respect and cooperation.

Responsibilities as a Religious Education Teacher

* Delivering well-structured and engaging RE lessons to pupils across KS3 and KS4
* Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assessing and providing feedback to students on their progress
* Preparing and planning of lessons, ensuring they cater to the diverse needs of the students
* Adhering to the schools policies and procedures
* Collaborating with the school staff to support students holistic development

To work as a Religous Education Teacher for Academics you will need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience of teaching Religious Education across KS3 & KS4
* To be able to engage and motivate pupils
* Good classroom management skills
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied)
