PPA Teacher - Welwyn Garden City

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join a lovely school I’m working with. As a PPA Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing cover and support across various classes, ensuring the continuation of high-quality education in the absence of regular class teachers.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and age groups, following the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering the academic and personal development of students.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity in learning experiences and effective classroom management.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and relevant stakeholders.
* Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Uphold school policies and procedures, contributing to a safe and supportive educational environment.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
* Adaptability and flexibility to work across different year groups and subjects.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

* Specialization or experience in specific subjects or areas of education.
* Experience with behaviour management strategies and techniques.
* Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into teaching and learning.
* Experience working in a similar role within a school setting.
