Learning Support Assistant's needed - SEN School in Basingstoke - On-going/Temp to Perm Contracts

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful SEN school on the outskirts of Basingstoke, set in the countryside which provides specialist education for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. They specialise in providing exceptional teaching and care for learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties, specifically those with ASD with associated behavioural and/or communication needs.

Their team of expert teaching and support staff work hard to deliver a 24 hour curriculum to their young people across both their main school site and children’s homes. The school offers day placements as well as weekly boarding, both term time only and 52 week care.

They are looking to appoint a number of passionate and empathetic Learning Support Assistant's to join them on full-time, on-gong or possible temporary to permanent contracts, starting after Easter/ASAP. You will be required to support students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Working 37.5 per week, term-time only - daily rate of £84-£90 per day.

This position is ideally suited to someone with experience of supporting in an SEN school, although not essential. Training will be provided. What is important is possessing a passion for working with children with special educational needs..

If this is of interest to you, please apply by sending a copy of your updated CV.
