Job Title: Classroom Assistant (Flexible Long Term Supply)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join us on a flexible long-term supply basis in various Primary Settings across Woking. Key Responsibilities:
* As a Classroom Assistant you will assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups as needed.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and valued.
* Help to create and organise learning resources, ensuring they are accessible and appropriate for students' needs.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), providing additional assistance and implementing strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, promoting positive behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
Requirements for a Classroom Assistant:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting.
* A caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
* Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work across different year groups and school environments.
* Basic understanding of child safeguarding and the ability to adhere to school policies and procedures.
* Ability to commute to Woking.
