Role: English / Maths Teacher
School: Mental Health Recovery School
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £30,000 - £44,999 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2024 / ASAP
Contract: Permanent / long term

We are looking for an English and Maths Teacher for children aged 11-17, with mental health and trauma-based needs, to work at a Mental Health Recovery School. As well as being a Teacher, you will be instrumental in nurturing them and supporting these vulnerable and at-risk students pastorally. Many students have been exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and need a ‘constant’, positive role model in their life. Could this be you?

This Teacher role is open to people from a Primary or Secondary teaching background, or a SEN / SEMH teaching background. We will also consider unqualified teachers. Any of these would be a suitable transition to this Mental Health Recovery School.

Please see a little about the school below:

1 Small Mental Health Recovery School for children with mental health and trauma-based needs, only 20 students
2 Class sizes of 4-8 students
3 Minimal marking to take home!!!

Are you looking for a new role? If yes, please get in touch today!
Our vacancies are rolling through more and more each day so I’d be keen to have a chat with you if so.
