Job Title: Psychology Graduate - Special Educational Needs School

Location: Haringey, London

Are you a recent Psychology graduate with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Are you seeking an opportunity to gain invaluable experience working within educational settings? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Haringey!

Job Description (Haringey):

As a Psychology Graduate working within the special educational needs schools, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with SEN students in a supportive and dynamic environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

* Providing one-on-one support to students with various SEN, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.
* Assisting teachers in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, therapists, and parents, to support the holistic development of students.
* Observing and documenting student progress and behaviour.
* Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with SEN students.

Requirements as a Psychology Graduate working in SEN Schools:

* Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
* Passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting student learning and development.
