Primary Teaching Assistant (Long Term Supply)

Location: Yateley, Hampshire

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time, Long Term Supply

Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact in young students' lives? Academics is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our team on a long-term supply basis in Yateley, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within vibrant primary school settings, supporting teachers and students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social development.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
* Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
* Supervise students during break times and off-site activities as required.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and with students of varying abilities.
* A positive and proactive attitude towards professional development and learning.
