Academics is currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team. Whether you're experienced or just starting your career in SEND, we have temp to perm roles, full and part-time positions available across Derbyshire and surrounding areas.

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant specializing in SEND, you will play a vital role in creating inclusive learning environments and supporting the individual needs of students. From communication difficulties to sensory processing disorders, your dedication will help students engage, progress, and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities include:

* Collaborating with education staff to plan and implement tailored support strategies.
* Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere aligned with the school's values.
* Providing one-on-one and small group support, addressing learning barriers and offering behavior management guidance.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of students according to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
* Possessing a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
