Academics are looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, to aid a child with ASD/ADHD needs. The friendly and nurturing-focused school requires you to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until the end of the year.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
* Have experience or an interest in supporting children with ASD / ADHD
* Be confident with following a personalised, 1:1 curriculum
* Be resilient, dedicated and reliable
* Hold a EYFS Practitioner/ Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification (desirable)
What you will do in your 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role:
* Promote the learning and personal development of 1:1 child
* Understand the specific ASD/ADHD needs
* Support and assist the class teacher in classroom learning
* Represent the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its ‘big heart’ ethos
