Position: Maths Teacher

Contract Type: Full time (Mon- Fri), Temporary

As a Qualified Maths Teacher , you want to inspire your students to foster a love for learning, thus contributing to the academic success of the students. This temporary position, starting April 24, extends until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend indefinitely into a permanent role. This secondary school has been given an Outstanding by OFSTED, who were most impressed with their highly ambitious and inclusive curriculum. The students actively engage in each lesson, with very low-level disruptions in terms of challenging behaviour with will give you, as the successful Maths Teacher the ability to use the attention you may be used to giving to behaviour management in other ways to aide student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage and inspire students in Years 7-11 (Key Stages 3 + 4) in the captivating world of Maths.
* Execute forward-thinking teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
* Recording and monitoring student progress in line with school procedures
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Teacher Reference Number
* A genuine passion for mathematics and education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
