Key Responsibilities:
1 Cultivate a love for geography by creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world examples, interactive activities, and innovative teaching methods.
2 Foster an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, express opinions, and develop critical thinking skills.
3 Utilize modern technology and resources to enhance learning experiences, from virtual field trips to GIS mapping tools.
4 Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches, connecting geography to subjects such as history, science, and economics.
5 Provide personalized support to students of all abilities, recognising and nurturing individual strengths and interests.
Qualifications:
* QTS certified
* Demonstrated expertise in geographic concepts, including physical geography, human geography, and geopolitics.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for inspiring lifelong learners.
* Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
* Can commute within Deal/East Kent areas
