Academics is collaborating closely with local SEN schools in Havering and we're on the lookout for compassionate individuals to join us as SEN Teaching Assistants. You'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to primary-aged children, assisting with their personal care and hygiene needs.

Your Role Will Encompass:

* Guiding and motivating children to complete tasks assigned by their teachers.
* Ensuring impeccable personal hygiene standards are maintained throughout the school day.
* Providing invaluable support with toileting and continence training.
* Assisting children with eating and drinking as needed.
* Collaborating effectively with key workers and seamlessly communicating with the teaching and leadership team.
* £80-£120 per day

Qualities We're Seeking:

* Personal Care experience essential
* Perseverance: A steadfast commitment to supporting children's needs.
* Patience: A calm and understanding demeanor, even in challenging situations.
* Previous Experience: Ideally, at least six months of experience in supporting personal hygiene and working with primary-aged children as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
* Understanding of SEN: Knowledge and empathy towards special educational needs.
* Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to undergo relevant training to excel in your role.
* Safeguarding Awareness: Prior knowledge of safeguarding practices is essential.
