Academics LTD are working with a fantastic Secondary School in the Reading area who are currently looking to recruit Graduate Cover Supervisors ASAP. Applicants will be expected to give students access to a safe learning environment. We are looking to provide Enthusiastic, Hardworking people to oversee lessons and maintain the exceptional standards of behaviour while teachers are absent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for people with previous education experience or someone who is thriving to make the first step into a career in the education sector. It is also the ideal opportunity for Graduates who are looking to begin their career in teaching.
Graduate Cover Supervisor Main Responsibilities:
* Create a positive & supportive environment where pupils are focused and complete class work set.
* Ensure all work from the lesson is collected at the end and make sure returned to the appropriate teacher.
* Feedback to class teacher
* Provide commitment to the safeguarding & health and safety of the students
The Ideal Graduate Cover Supervisor:
* Excellent organizational skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong Communication Skills
* Experience working in a school space
* Ability to manage challenging behavior and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
