Job Title: Temporary Nursery Teacher

Location: London Borough of Sutton

Contract Duration: April 2024 - July 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator ready to make a positive impact on young minds? Academics are working with a wonderful school located in the vibrant London Borough of Sutton, who are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our team from April to July 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
2 Classroom Management: Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom activities and behavior effectively.
3 Individualized Learning: Recognize and cater to the unique needs of each child, adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles.
4 Parental Engagement: Establish strong communication channels with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
5 Assessment and Record Keeping: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor and track children's developmental milestones, maintaining accurate records.
6 Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience for children.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in teaching within the Early Years/Foundation Stage.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid certifications.
