SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA - Maternity Contract
Are you a qualified, passionate, and driven SEN HLTA, with a commitment to supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) or Autism (ASC / ASD)?
Have you got experience of HLTA work including planning activities and leading classes of children with Special Educational Needs?
If you are able to offer resilient and confident support, effectively promote positive behaviours, and engage students in their own learning, we want to hear from you!
About the Job:
* Working in an SEN Primary School
* A Maternity Contract from September 2024
* Long term, full time contract
* Classroom support and some class delivery

What we need from you:
* Suitable Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA qualification
* Experience supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
* Experience planning and leading classes of children with additional needs
* Ability to foster self-relience and self-esteem amongst pupils with SEND
* Dedication and resilience
* Ability to take initiative and use innovative methods in the classroom
