Position overview:

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment for students by providing essential support to teachers and educators. Your responsibilities will include assisting in classroom management, helping students with diverse needs, and contributing to the overall success of the educational program.

Main Responsibilities of a Classroom Support Assistant:

* Assist teachers in setting up classrooms for lessons and maintaining a tidy, organized, and safe learning environment.
* Provide individual or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
* Offer guidance and assistance to students during classroom activities, ensuring they stay engaged and focused.
* Implement classroom management strategies as directed by the teacher to create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
* Assist in delivering lessons by reinforcing learning objectives, explaining concepts, and supervising student activities.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.

Requirements to become a Classroom Support Assistant:

* The ability to stand, sit, and move around the classroom for extended periods.
* Lifting and carrying classroom materials and equipment as necessary.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Patience and the ability to work well with students of different ages and abilities.
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
