Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire

If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in primary schools across Selby.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring a tailored and inclusive educational experience.
2 Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching materials to meet the specific requirements of the student.
3 Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment, promoting engagement and motivation among students.
4 Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to share insights, progress, and strategies for optimal student development.
5 Encourage and reinforce positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and social skills in students.
Qualifications and Experience:
1 Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
2 Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience working in a similar role is highly desirable.
3 An understanding of diverse learning needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
4 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
5 Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of primary school students.
