Humanities Teacher - Kingston upon Thames

We are seeking a resilient and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our team at a good school in Kingston upon Thames, London. The successful candidate will possess strong behaviour management skills and a passion for inspiring students to excel in their humanities studies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and respectful learning environment
* Foster a culture of mutual respect and high expectations within the classroom, promoting positive relationships between students and staff
* Respond promptly and appropriately to challenging behaviour, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
* Establish clear and consistent routines and expectations for student behaviour, with fair and appropriate consequences for non-compliance
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to address individual student needs and provide additional support where necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Specialism in one or more humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.)
* Proven experience implementing effective behaviour management strategies in a secondary school setting
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
