Your Role:
As a Classroom Assistant - SEN Experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse needs of students. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing personalised assistance to students with Special Educational Needs in the classroom setting.
* Collaborating closely with teachers and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
* Assisting students with their learning activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported throughout the day.
* Promoting positive behaviour management techniques and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitoring and recording student progress and communicating effectively with parents and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, as a Classroom Assistant - SEN Experience you should have:
* Previous experience working as a Classroom Assistant, preferably with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
* A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their well-being and academic progress.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support would be advantageous.
