Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, are looking for an unqualified teaching assistant for a lovely SEN school in Erdington.The successful applicant will work within a team supporting students both in the classroom and during play and enrichment time. The candidate must have the following to be considered for this role:
* Previous experience working with SEN children
* Previous experience in working within a school setting
* Qualification is not required
* A Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online Academics Ltd will provide full assistance in getting you one.
The pay will be between (£75.95 - £90.00) a day and will be on either a full time or part time basis for the role of an unqualified teaching assistant.
The role will involve:
* Implementing planned learning programs agreed with the teacher.
*
Fulfilling the role of a unqualified teaching assistant.
*
Understand and support independent learning within an Erdington school.
* Track and monitor student targets and EHCP outcomes.
* You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher’s guidance to deliver material and interventions.
* Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
* Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition within an Erdington classroom.
