Are you searching for a rewarding career where your efforts can truly transform lives? Is your heart set on providing support to children with special educational needs (SEN)? An opportunity to profoundly influence the lives of SEN children is within your reach!

If you have a genuine interest in working with SEN children and believe you can empower them to learn and thrive with compassionate support, then this position is tailor-made for you.

A mainstream primary school in Bracknell, serving students with a range of mild additional needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), and behavioural challenges (EBD), is actively seeking a committed Learning Mentor to offer personalized support to a particular student.

Invaluable for this role is prior experience working with SEN children, coupled with a robust understanding of SEN. Experience in managing challenging behavior is a great asset. Past relevant experiences could include providing one-on-one SEN support, assisting in an SEN nursery, working in a sports setting, or similar classroom environments dedicated to SEN students. Plus, a valid DBS check is essential for this position, and we're here to help you through the process!

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build a positive and trusting relationship with your assigned pupil while receiving strong support from the leadership team. They will equip you with the necessary tools, provide guidance for planning meaningful learning activities, and offer additional training to enhance your effectiveness in the role.

Position: Learning Mentor

* 1:1 support for a student with mild additional needs.
* Long-term contract, full-time (Monday to Friday).
* Located in Bracknell with easily accessible public transport links.
* Salary: £76 - £80 per day.
* In-house training opportunities.
* Immediate start.

The school is dedicated to fostering continuous growth and development, offering personalized, in-house training to empower you to thrive in your role. With a collaborative team firmly behind you, rest assured you'll receive the enthusiastic support and abundant resources necessary to achieve success!

Conveniently located with excellent local transport links, the school ensures effortless commuting for both students and staff. And with ample onsite parking, your journey to work promises to be nothing short of hassle-free, leaving you ready to tackle the day with a smile!
