A primary school in Reading are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. Teacher training will be an option upon the successful completion of the academic year.

The role:
* You will learn all the relevant skills needed to make a great teacher. You will learn how to best support students with meeting their academic goals. As well as supporting those students with EHCP’s (Education and Health Care Plans).
* You will also help support the class teacher with general classroom duties such as preparing and clearing away lesson materials at the end of lessons.
* You will be involved with helping students with their numeracy and literacy .
* You will also be involved in helping manage general classroom behaviour.
All these skills are sure to come in handy when applying for any teacher training courses.
The ideal candidate:
* Resilient, committed and passionate about education and supporting children .
* Will have some experience working with children. Desirable but not essential.
* Will have a great personality with a can-do attitude.
* Will have a background in psychology, sociology, drama, art or sports.

* £70 to £85 per day

* Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm
