At KS3 there is an opportunity to build on students’ successes at primary school and prepare them for the challenges of KS4 courses, whilst maintaining their enthusiasm for the subject. To this end, they follow a 2 year KS3 course in years 7 + 8 using the ‘Go Science Teacher’ scheme of work with a focus on making the work engaging and relevant, whilst developing ‘How Science Teacher Works’ competencies.
